History

The United States Veterans Riding Club was established to create a network of veteran motorcycle enthusiasts dedicated to brotherhood, service, and the open road. The USVRC, and what would later come to be the Mile High Chapter, was founded in 2008 by 4 United States Marines, along with the spouse and son of a Marine. Our Founders were committed to bringing local veterans together, supporting the veteran community, and raising funds to directly support veterans in need as well as other veterans' charities. That commitment lives on today.

What began as a small group of veteran riders meeting at a local diner has grown into an active veteran motorcycle community with chapters in Colorado and Minnesota. Our members come from all branches of service and their families, united by their love of riding and their commitment to supporting fellow veterans.

We are a registered and federally recognized 501(c)(3) in good standing (Tax ID: 01-0907448). All donations to the USVRC are tax deductible. We are an all-volunteer club, and no member receives any salary or compensation. By doing the work ourselves, we make sure that every dollar raised goes to the charities we raised it for.

While we share a love of motorcycles with every other rider, we are a Riding Club (RC) and not a Motorcycle Club (MC). From our founding we have been committed to remaining absolutely non-political and completely neutral within the community. We are not affiliated with any other clubs in any official capacity. We will, however, show up to support causes that are in line with our mission, regardless of who sponsors the event, because it is about the cause, not the applause.
